Its funny where life leads you. I was trying to think of a good post to start my blog out on the right foot, and as I was thinking my mind took my on a trip back in time. It got me thinking where all my life has taken me. I thought I would share a little bit of it since it what has brought me here today. I was raised in the good ole town of Milford, Indiana. My parents brought me up to know the truth and what is most important in life- serving Jesus Christ. I am the tag along of three older brothers by 12 years, I am blessed to have 9 nieces and nephews (including my husband’s niece), I love them and miss them greatly.
I met my husband, Loren when I was just shy of sixteen in Juarez, Mexico on a work trip.
Two weeks later he asked me to prom,
from there we dated 3 years and were engaged 1 year.
That whole time, except for about 5 months was long distance. We made it work…and then on January 1, 2011 we got married, finally to be in the same state at the same time!
So that brings me to today. My goal is to create and help others create. I love working with my hands. I used to be awed at the creativity in others saying, “I could never do that!” Now God has given me the passion and talent to do it (or at least try :). I love trying new things and hope to continue to learn and become better at it.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope to start posting different crafty things I have done and different recipes that I love!!
