Today is a day so many of us remember. So many lives lost, so much heartache for America. As I though about 9-11 today I kind of went down memory lane. Do you remember where you were on 9-11? I sure do. I was in fifth grade, just coming back from music class. Our teacher had the tiny little TV in our room on. Our class huddled around it and watched it all day. Then I think of everyone who is fighting and has fought for our freedom in this country. Both my Grandpa’s fought for our country. One was a tank driver. He was affected his whole life from being at war. He rarely ever talked about it. My other Grandpa was a medic. I have also read the books Unbroken, Fearless, and No Easy Day. They are on men who also fought for this country and laid down their life for you and me. Thinking about these men and all they went through makes me so grateful for them and this country. I am so blessed to live in America. I just wanted to dedicate a blog post to all those who lost their life in 9-11, at war, or are serving our country right now. Prayers for all the family’s who have lost a loved one or are apart from a loved one right now. And a huge thank you and remembrance for my two Grandpa’s who are now in Heaven. They were such a good example to me and I miss them and still think of them often.
