I am loving these colors in this craft room from Just Between Friends.
Onto better organization. A couple months ago I bought a shelf to help organize my fabrics better. Knowing that I won’t be in my current craft room that long, we kind of just slapped it up on the wall above my cutting table. Yes, I know it looks really tacky right under the verse on the wall, but it is SUPER functional and I love having it there. It is so easy to put fabrics away right after I cut them because it is right there. Before I had it, the fabrics would get tossed on a chair or on the floor and not get put away for like ever. But I must admit it is not the most glamorous thing to look at. Maybe if I took the time to actually fold and stack the fabrics better it wouldn’t look so tacky. But hey I don’t have time for that when I know tomorrow I will have to unfold the fabric again!
So I started looking for better ways to organize the fabric. I found this idea over at Craftaholics Anonymous. I really like it, but I am still a little concerned how it would turn out for me. I just know they won’t end up folded and hung that nicely when I get done using them! So I welcome ANY ideas that are practical, yet functional for storing fabric that you use on a daily basis.
