Cut and iron your fabrics. Fuse the fusible fleece to the wrong side of one of your outer pieces. Then take the ruffle piece and iron each side in 1/2″, like pictured below.
Then ruffle that strip and lay it on top of your outer piece. Pin in place and sew each side.
Next place your two outer pieces right sides together. Pin and sew. I use the edge of my pressure foot for my seam allowance. Once both sides are sewn, turn right side out.
Now before you can do the next step you will need to take your vinyl remnant’s and cut them to the shape shown below. To do that cut 4 squares that are around 2″ by 2.5″. They need to be a bit wider than the size of your strap. So measure your strap to get the best fit. Then fold one in half (hot dog style) and cut at a diagonal from the middle of the side to the middle of the bottom. When you have them all cut, sandwich the webbing between two pieces of vinyl (Right sides facing out). Then sew together. I sewed forward then reversed about 3 times to make sure it was nice and snug.
Now you will need to sew the strap itself in-between the vinyl pieces. I sewed a rectangle to hold the camera strap in. After the rectangle was sewn I sewed two diagonal lines making and X. I once stitched multiple times to ensure stability.
And then your are done!! Trim the threads and enjoy!!
