I didn’t do a baby bump update post right at 30 weeks because I was doing the 30 day contentment blog series. So here are a few updates and pictures on how this little girl is growing! Right now I am nearing 32 weeks. The closer it gets the more excited I get, but also a little nervous!
A few things I can’t wait for:
-To drink coffee again! I have been staying away from it because I had been getting really bad acid reflex. I have not had it as bad since I have stopped drinking it. I still get it a little from time to time, and notice if I eat something with tomato’s in it I slightly get it. Anything acidic. But it is so much more manageable. With that being said I have been oh so tempted multiple days to just turn on the kerig and make myself a cup. It sounds so amazing, but then I think of how uncomfortable I get and decide to stay away!
-To see what she looks like! I keep hoping she has her dad’s beautiful eyelashes. The last sono was at 27ish weeks and they got a few good shots of her face. I am convinced in one of them I can see she has big beautiful eyelashes 🙂 Loren calls me crazy… hehe I probably am, but you never know! Whatever she looks like she will be beautiful to us! But it is still fun to dream about what characteristic of each of us she will have!
– My right rib will be very excited when she is no longer kicking it. She has had fun abusing it. Sometimes it feels like she is just sitting right under it. I try to squiggle around to get her to move, but she thinks it is funner to squish it. I have noticed my muscles around the right rib are getting sore too from all the action they are seeing from her.
-To have my energy back! I am not really one to sit still very long. Carrying a baby has forced me to slow down a little. The other day after I made some wallets I mowed, picked weeds, and cleaned the bathrooms. I was completely worn out! I felt like an old lady! I saw this one Pinterest recently and it made me chuckle:
I love this picture, taken on father’s day. I can’t wait to see daddy’s hands holding her!
