Oh my sweet Kina,
How are you almost six months already? A half of a year with you. Crazy how fast time goes. I know some people choose a word for the year, I really didn’t, but time keeps coming up. I want to enjoy all the moments I get. I want to be thankful for them because time goes way to fast to not be. So dear Kina here is a few things I don’t ever want to forget about your first six months with us!
The way you….
-Make hound dog sounds when trying to decide if you want to cry or suck your paci.
-Can chuck your paci really hard up against the wall while in your crib (I have since strapped it to you so I don’t have to hunt for it constantly).
-Love kicking things (your crib, the couch, toy gym, humans)
-Get really mad when you roll onto your belly and try to crawl but can’t. We flip you back over but you go right back to your belly and continue getting mad.
-Love reading books. You just touch the pages and are so intrigued by books.
-Give us the biggest smiles when we go in to get you up after sleeping.
-Blow bubbles in your bottle and spit (and I mean spit a good distance).
-Love touching faces.
-Hate mom’s breastmilk and will refuse to eat it unless it’s mixed with a ratio of 2 breastmilk 5 ounces formula.
-Love jumping in your jumpers.
-Love your changing pad.
-Get so hyper before bed.
-Love baths and go absolutely crazy with splashing.
-Wrap your arm around our neck like your giving us hugs.
-Love anything shiny.
-Are so hard to change because you are constantly trying to squirm, eat your toes, scratch the wall, or reach for something.
-How your hair was so crazy and I didn’t bother to tame it.
-How when I dance or sing to you while your in your jumper you go crazy and jump and smile big like you think its the greatest thing in the world.
-How your daddy comes home and can’t wait to see you.
-How your daddy wants snap chats of you all the time.
-How our love grows deeper and deeper for you every single day.
