I am so excited for the first Stitch Project! Its kinda funny because the more I sew clothes the more I absolutely love it. I get excited thinking about my next project and I get even more excited when I complete it! So it only seems right to start out the first Stitch Project with tutorials on sewing clothing!
The Wild At Heart Tank was inspired by my crazy kiddo. She is a handful and keeps us one our toes. I wouldn’t want it any other way though. I told Loren she needs a shirt that matches her personality. I decided wild at heart would be perfect! Im pretty sure though, that most kids are wild at heart at this age. Getting into everything and making their parents laugh. So based on my educated conclusion all kids need one of these shirts!
Follow along with me as I teach you in separate blog posts all about:
-Drafting a simple tank pattern and adding seam allowances
– Applique + free printable appliqué pattern
-Finishing the arm holes and collar of the tank
-The final assembly of your simple but awesome new shirt!
Let’s sew together!
