As each day goes by I continue to love you more and more. Not really sure how that is possible, but it keeps on happening. I am also not really sure how you got so big, and how you can do all the things you do. It seemed as just yesterday you were a little baby. Now you have a personality, you are climbing on things, and shaking your head no. Time is flying. All the more reason for me to cherish each and every moment no matter how small or big they are.
Naps: 2 naps a day. Sleeping at night from 7PM to 6:30-7AM.Feeding: 2-3 bottles, around 16 ounces total. Eats what we eat for breakfast, lunch, and supper. Clothing: Anywhere from 6 month to 12 months.
Eating: You continue to eat anything we put in front of you. Awhile ago I made a few freezer meals at a Wild Tree party. I have been getting them out randomly. On one of the meals I had forgotten we added some crushed red pepper flakes to the veggies. We normally cut yours up and give you food first, because when it comes to food, you are not patient We had yet to dig in to ours when you started crying/whining and getting watery eyes, yet you kept shoving food in your mouth. Once we found out that the veggies were hot you had pretty much eaten them all. Crazy girl, even when you don’t like something/it hurts you keep on eating it.
Sleeping: Sleeping has pretty much stayed the same. You go to bed around 7 and get up around 7. You take two 1-1.5 hour naps a day around 9 and 1. It is really nice to finally have the sleeping thing down for the most part.
Development: You now have 6 teeth total. Two on the bottom and all four front teeth are in now. Your little toothy grins get me every-time!
You full blown crawl now and you can go fast. One evening daddy got home and the instant you saw him you started booking it as fast as you could to the door. I love how excited you get to see him! You are constantly pulling yourself up on things and getting much braver. With that also comes falling and hurting yourself. We have had a couple crash landings so far. We got you a little toy that you can push and walk behind. Your body gets ahead of your feet, so you for sure need help with that, but you are learning!
You have learned no. You shake your head side to side a lot now. You even have done it if I say no when you are doing something you are not supposed to. Oh my dear!
You don’t laugh to often, which makes me slightly sad since it is seriously the best sound ever. But you do smile constantly. It warms my heart every-time you give me a giant toothy grin for no reason at all. Its the best.
A few things you are loving right now:
-Going on walks/bike rides-Talking/yelling-Air vents or fans (you will crawl over to the air vent and just stare at it even if its not on. If it is you get super excited and just let it blow in your face).-Crawling up on the dishwasher when its down.
-Dancing. We are constantly dancing to anything and everything.
A few things your not to fond of:
-Being laid on your changing pad. Which is so ironic since that used to be your happy place. I usually give you a toy or something because it is drama fest if I don’t!-Waiting for food. A few things you are teaching us:
Just how deep a love for a child is. It helps me grasp my relationship with Jesus a little better than before I had a child to call my own.
You are truly such a blessing to our house. You make us smile and warm our hearts to much. We are so thankful for you little girl.
