I was honored to be able to be part of the test group for this adorable sunsuit romper designed by Call Ajaire. I am so in love with making things for Kina and this turned out absolutely adorable. This pattern is packed to the brim with good stuff. Not only does it include this adorable sunsuit romper, but it also includes a trouser length romper, a knee length dress and a maxi dress. You also have the option to separate the top and bottom, making it a pattern for shorts, trousers, two different length skirts, or a tank. It is full of details and beautifully done illustrated directions. She did not leave anything out!
I love how there is no closures to sew in, making it super easy to get off and on. And for my diaper wearing baby, there is directions to do a snap panel to make diaper changing a breeze! I love being creative, so I love how you can customize this pattern in so many different ways. You can do all one color fabric. You can do contrasting fabrics. There are pocket instructions. There are faux piping directions that you can add a contrasting fabric, lace, any sort of trim. Truly the sky is the limit for mixing fabrics and making it exactly how you want it.
Like I said before, she truly did not leave anything out of this pattern. Her descriptions are easy to understand, there are instructions on how to blend sizes, yardage requirements, cutting guides, and suggested cutting layout only to mention a few. Since there are so many pages due to the multiple pattern pieces, she included a print guide to tell you what pages you will need for the size or garment you want. This make is super easy to pin point exactly what you want so you don’t have to print every single page! Love this detail!
I love how cute Kina looks in it. I am so in love with baby summer clothes. Her cute little legs sticking out are just <3 <3. I will for sure be making many things for Kina with this awesome pattern!
