This Christmas I have been feeling so blessed. Nothing huge has really happened just more of an attitude change. The truths in my head are reaching my heart and filling me with an extreme amount of gratitude. I think it is easy for us as people to complain. When things don’t go the way we want it we get annoyed. If we have to wait longer than we expected, it is easy to get anxious and frustrated. I raise my hand first. The grumpiness sets in hard core and I feel cheated when something doesn’t go my way.
I have really been feeling convicted in this area lately. It’s easy for me to get swept away in the Christmas bustle and gift giving. “What do I want for Christmas? I can’t wait to get my presents. I hope I get this or that….” It’s easy for me to get caught up in everything that Christmas isn’t truly about and forget what it really is about. Christmas is about the most amazing gift ever given. It is about a baby born to change the world, to save my life. It’s about the attitude of giving our best, giving from the bottom of our heart. It’s not about stressing over how much to spend on this person or what is the perfect gift for that person. It’s about genuinely giving and touching others. It’s about giving from the heart and not giving out of necessity. It’s about giving our best, even if that doesn’t look like someone else’s best. It’s not about comparing, but about sharing love. It’s about sharing your talents with others. It is really all about the giving and blessing.
I am so grateful for all my readers. All the people who support me. Because of that extreme gratitude I feel, I want to give you a gift for Christmas.
